Migdal Oz is a 30-minute drive to Jerusalem and a 15-minute walk (or three minute drive) to Efrat, where there are shops, medical and dental clinics, restaurants and more. Migdal Oz uses Maccabi health insurance, which you will receive more information about after registration. The students live in air-conditioned and heated apartment style dormitories. Each dormitory unit is designed for five girls (two overseas students and three Israelis) and includes a kitchenette (with a mini-fridge and kum kum), bedroom, and full bathroom. The apartments are alongside a main building which houses the beit midrash, dining room, library, exercise room, and various lounges. There is also plenty of outdoor spaces to learn, relax, and exercise. Students are served three meals a day and the campus is equipped with laundry facilities, which are free for the overseas students to use. In addition to the kibbutz’s extensive security system, the campus has its own internal 24/7 security.
